BIOGRAPHICAL
I grew up in Wilmette, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. I went to college at the University of North Carolina. For several years after graduation I moved around the country, worked menial jobs, met as many people as I could, and wrote stories. I eventually settled in New York City where I was hired as a paramedic for the New York City Fire Department. I worked out of Station 18 in Harlem for five years. I left New York for Knoxville, Tn, in August of 2001. Since leaving New York I have published three novels and worked on various film and TV projects. For enjoyment I like to get out into the wilderness and spend time with my two sons.
